Our Team
Graduated from Registered Nurse in 1985 and now retired after nearly 35 years of loyal service mostly in the public sector.
Having always had great cognitive motivation and a curiosity to learn, I worked in several health fields, in hospitals, in the community and in private service towards the end of my career.
As a team leader nurse, I have accumulated over time a vast experience in acute medical care in obstetrics / maternity / nursery, pediatrics, home care, palliative care, specialization in hemodialysis, operating room / recovery room, dermatology / laser, and parenteral neurology perfusion clinic.
Around 1996-2009 with nearly 13 years of involvement in community health, being an integral part of the home care team, I became the nurse of the regional multidisciplinary team responsible for rating the hours of physical care for patients. beneficiaries for long-term accommodation.
Particularly in 2011, following government cuts and the reorganization of the geriatric clientele and in relation to my experience in clinical case evaluation and as load / patient manager, I was entrusted with the administrative nursing task of rectifying 72 files / patients in a non-institutionalized residence in private / public partnership, as well as the management of nursing staff while providing special nursing care. Knowing well the clientele suffering from physical and / or cognitive impairment,
I was able to rise to the challenge so that each of the residents received the appropriate care they require in an intermediate living environment offering 24/7 services in anticipation of the demand for long-term accommodation in a government institution.
Adept at turning complex difficulties into meaningful results, I now commit myself in another form to helping us recover and maintain a balanced level of bio-psycho-social public health.
Lawry Trevor-Deutsch was born in Montreal, Canada and is a Canadian citizen. He holds 3 university degrees: a bachelor's degree in science (with distinction - biology) from Carleton University in Ottawa, a master's degree (biology) from Carleton University and a joint master's degree in administration from McGill University and the University of Manchester. Since 1997, he has maintained a Level II - “Secret” security clearance with the Government of Canada and is accredited to the Government as a Corporate Security Officer.
He is currently President and Owner of StrathmereAssociates International Limited, a business, economic development and procurement consultancy, a company he founded in 1991, and President of TNW Wireless Inc., a Canadian supplier of federally licensed wireless services. From 2012 to 2017, he was Senior Vice President, Corporate and Regulatory Affairs of Teliphone Navigata-Westel Communication Inc., an independent competitive local exchange carrier (CLEC).
He has been a consultant to large companies such as Bayer, Alcan, the Bendix Corporation as well as several Canadian government departments, including Industry Canada, National Defense and the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA). He has considerable experience in international development as a consultant to CIDA and the International Development Research Society (IDRC) and spent 12 years as a senior consultant at the World Bank, overseeing several technology projects.
He has carried out over 100 economic development projects in a wide variety of industrial sectors. This included economic development studies for the Government of Canada as well as business plans for the private sector. He has considerable experience in South East Asia, Asia, Africa, Eastern Europe and Central / South America, including supporting World Bank projects such as the African Virtual University and the Global Learning Network and the Acacia Project for CIDA. He is currently working on private sector projects related to mining and telecommunications and is currently helping Carleton University expand services related to the Canada-India Center of Excellence.
In 2007 he completed and received an international LEAD (Leadership for Environment and Development - London, UK) scholarship and currently serves on the board of LEAD Canada. He has devoted much of his time to the organization as part of its commitment to corporate social responsibility and has worked with LEAD to develop idea generation and ethical decision-making programs.
Mr. Trevor-Deutsch is active in community service having served on several local councils including the Canadian Screen Training Center, the Ottawa Small Business Development Center, the Ontario Society of Trainers and Developers, the Advisory Board to the President of Carleton University, The Ottawa-Hull Film and Television Association, New Media North, among others. He has also been active with Scouts Canada since 2000 as a Young Leader and has received two Organization Service Medals. He also received the City of Ottawa Mayor's Award for his work in promoting the city's small businesses.
A born entrepreneur, Isabelle Paradis made here first step in administration within the family business.
She continues her apprenticeship in Ontario where she starts her first business in 2000. As she returns to Quebec, she applies her expertise, her drive, and her capacity of getting partners to the service of several network groups.
Possessing an important business network around Quebec, Isabelle Paradis is a professionnal on business developping, devotes now all her passion and determination in promoting Carrefour Affaires Santé and the success of her clients.
